Low vision is a specialized
field of eye care that helps people with reduced vision that
is not correctable with normal eyeglasses.
Our doctor and technicians perform specialized evaluations
to measure the vision that is still present, and to test and
demonstrate a large variety of visual aids and devices that
allow the patient to function visually. These devices include
simple magnifiers, eyeglass telescopes, binoculars, television
magnifying systems, special lamps, tinted lenses and many
more.
We counsel patients with partial sight on how to make the
most of their life, in spite of a visual disability. |
