Dr. Barry Lesnick
Dr. Barry Lesnick, a Detroit, Michigan area native joined
his father Dr. S.W. Lesnick in practice after receiving his
OD Degree from the Illinois College of Optometry, graduating
Magna Cum Laude in 1977.
Dr. Lesnick has Board of Optometry Certification in diagnostic
and pharmaceutical agents, completing the Therapeutic Pharmacology
and the management of Ocular diseases courses. He is certified
in contact lenses by the National Eye Research Foundation,
and is also a member of the contact lens section of the American
Optometric Association.
Dr. Lesnick has also taken extensive advanced post graduate
courses in Laser Vision Correction, and Clinical Applications,
and provides pre-operative and post-operative care for Lasik
(Refractive Surgery) patients.
He is an affiliate doctor with TLC (The Laser Clinic) since
1995. Dr. Lesnick is a member of the Metropolitan Detroit
Optometric Society, the Michigan Optometric Association, and
the American Optometric Association and The International
Society of Refractive Surgery.

Dr. Michael Sandles
Dr. Michael Sandles is a long time inhabitant of Belleville,
Michigan, where he has been an active member of the community.
Dr. Sandles earned his BA Degree from the University of Michigan
in Ann Arbor. He then attended the Illinois College of Optometry
in Chicago, earning his OD in 1979. The Michigan Board of
Optometry certifies Dr. Sandles in diagnostic and pharmaceutical
agents, completing the Therapeutic Pharmacology and the management
of Ocular diseases courses. He has been a leading practitioner
in general optometry and specializes in contact lenses.
Dr. Sandles also founded the Belleville Vision Center in
Belleville in 1980, moving from its original location Downtown
to its current location today.
He has also taken many post graduate and continuing education
courses in ocular pathology and contact lenses.

Dr. Paul Dearing
Dr. Paul Dearing grew up in southeast Michigan. He enlisting
in the Air Force and completed a twenty-four-year military
career. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical
Science from Auburn University in Montgomery, AL. He graduated
Magna Cum Laude. After retiring from the military, Dr. Dearing
attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of
Optometry, receiving his degree in 2003. Dr. Dearing then
completed a one-year Residency in Blind Rehabilitation and
Geriatric Optometry at the Birmingham VA Medical Center.
Dr. Dearing was married in 1980 to his wife Tammy. They have
two grown children. His son Paul, is in the Air Force and
is currently serving overseas in support of Operation Enduring
Freedom. His daughter, Holly is married with one child and
resides in South Carolina.
His license includes the use of diagnostic and therapeutic
pharmaceutical agents to help in the management/treatment
of ocular diseases.
Dr. Dearing is a member of the Michigan Optometric Association
and the American Optometric Association.

Sanford Lesnick-A.B.O.C.—F.N.A.O.
On September 21, 1970 Sandy began his career working with
his father, Dr. S.W. Lesnick in Lincoln Park, Michigan. Initially,
Sandy was involved with fabrication of eyeglasses.
A few years into the business, Sandy earned his certification
with The American Board of Opticianry, through Ferris State
University, and became a fellow of The National Academy of
Opticianry and attends classes through Continuing Education.
Sandy is an integral part of Lesnick Optical, Belleville
Vision Center, and VisionPro Eyecare, overseeing administrative
duties, patient satisfaction, quality care, outstanding service,
in addition to his performance as a precisioned optician.
Preceding Lesnick Optical, Sandy served in the U.S. Army
as a Military Policeman, where he received a top secret security
clearance in Viet Nam, as well as Security for the White House
V.I.P.’s. Upon return home from service, Sandy made
the decision to become an optician.
